you can't

Both versions' save files are in the same format, so it seems to be possible...but ever since I attempted to replace the PC version save files it kept crashing on startup. Even deleting those saves didn't help.

I'm not personally trying to transfer saves, but edit them using the Vita P4G editor, and some people have found a few issues, but, in theory, transfers should work if you don't mind doing some hex editing.

The save format (.bin) is identical between the Vita and PC versions, but he PC version also has a .binslot file for every used save slot that must be hex-edited so that the check-sums match between the .bin and .binslot.

I'm going to try to work with this tonight or tomorrow, but I imagine some enterprising and far more competent person will have a transfer/editing tool pretty soon.

ummm... no. PC and PS VITA are like such different architectures, plus, it's still a 'different' game, even though it's a port. the ps vita save data wouldn't have the info for the pc exclusive settings/keybinds/etc.

You obviously don't know how to deal with Vita save data encryption, or where the save data for the PC version is actually located.

The save data is located in SteamDir\userdata\(string)\1113000\remote.
The INI is in UserDir\AppData\Local\Sega\P4G.
Would be nice if it was possible. I want to do NG+ but don't want to finish the game again.

You can use your vita save files with a slight hex edit. Was even surprised that the Save editor that was made years back works with the PC Version

just wanted to let you guys know that i've slightly updated the p4g save editor: https://www.vware.at/persona-4-golden-save-tool-1-7/

this removes the hassle of editing the files yourself. be aware that changing the name of the main character is not yet supported - anyways, if the saves are edited directly in their steam folder, they will work.

You need a "modded" psp vita or it works with a "normal" psp vita

First, no you don't, and second, why bump a month-old thread?
