The balance is also off for most of the run in the DLC. It's too hard in the beginning and then gets too easy once you get some good upgrades (besides the final battle). In the end, it just feels like a half ass rougelike mode tacked on to a pretty good game. The combat is still fun so it's worth checking out, but it needs a lot of work.
This game has so many little things that just add up over time. I'm going to try and finish a cycle (using butcher ederm with axakatana) and then i'm done. Honestly getting to the point i regret buying it.
Happened to me too.. The problem is a run can take 2 hours - 3 hours or more if you play extremely safe and explore everything to get all or most of the Instincts. Then you fall to your death... Having to do it ALL OVER again..
a run in Hades is about 15 - 30 minutes per run but then again that game is roguelike focused and a brilliant game so can't really compare them.
I started backing up my savegame folders every 30 minutes. You can do that while you play. Problem solved...
now i beat hadern the first time and have the opinion in main menue to choose the dlc.
should i do this? he will my save file or should i play the main game at once and then the dlc?
Yeah better to play Story before DLC. So you know what to do when you play the DLC and where to go. Although you can do it whenever you like to be honest. DLC is completely separate from story (DLC needs no progression from main story I think?) you can access it from the tower in Fulgrim just talk to your Twin/Girl stuck on the slab wall thing.
Beat the last bosses with first try and nevar, evar had ANY problems with dis fight. Just use attack and stone form. Long fight yea, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy. Wonder why ppl even try to attack with stone form on cd.
