L.A Noire HARD lag

I bought this game three days ago, and I can run this game, i've seen the system requirements and stuff.

Now after installing the game and trying it, I am experiencing a very HARD lag, i've tried so many methods; changing the resolution, lowering the graphics settings, adding some words to the launch options.. and none worked. Please help me, the lag of the game is really unplayable. I need a solution

When you right click on LA NOIRE from your games libra click on PLAY GAME on Steam, you will see the LA NOIRE splash screen. Click on OPTIONS, then all the way at the bottom switch from MULTITHREADING to SINGLE. This should fix your lag. Then click LAUNCH GAME.

On some systems performance is increased by writing -str on the command line under the options BEFORE launching the game.

I play this game just fine on PC, way better than in a console where its capped at 30 FPS, while I play it at 60. This game is not well optimised, but it only gives some really bad problems in some PC's, not all of them. I hope this suggestion helps you.

no help, just you need really good computer to play this game. because i had a laptop, 512mb video card and it did not play on that, because there was a lag too.

Use a program called Widescreen Fixer.
It'll fix both FPS cap and black bars. If you have a decent rig, of course.

I tried to use it, it doesn't fix the screen or the FPS cap.

Then i have the best fix for this for you since the game is actually locked at 30 FPS. And by downloading this fix you play the game at 50 FPS , and its a HUGE difference comparred to before with 30 fps witch is unplayable for mee :D Download link here mate https://www.widescreenfixer.org/ and just pick LA noire and choose setting to run the game at 50 fps :P Enjoy

Mate I tried it before, and it didn't remove black bars nor fix the FPS cap :/

Well then u have to do something wrong , becouse i have been playing that game on and off for a year now , i even re-installed it. You just go into Whisescreen fixer and select the game. Then u select the cogweel on the right , and pick v1.3 check Enable FOV and Enable Fps Cap fix and select it to 59.940 FPS save settings on upper select settings and add a Hotkey..

The enter the game and when u are in the settings meny , continue game and whatnot Press your Hotkey and vola , ur fps would jump at least 20 FPS :P

windows 8 might be the one causing some issues. also overclock your cpu if u have a good cpu cooler it will improve the framerate.

Windows 8 was never a problem and will never be a problem for gaming. I've tested almost everygame on Windows 8 all of them works fine and even better than Windows 7.

And about overclocking my CPU, I don't know. I might do it in winter. :/
