Trying to get DLCs when i already own the game

Is it even possible with Steam?
I already own LA Noire on Steam but i didn't buy the Complete Edition. I wanted to just play some of the normal game and then go and get the DLC later on when i enjoyed the game enough to get it. But i've noticed that the price is N/A. Meaning that i am unable to buy it seperately. I tried buying the Complete Edition, but because i already own LA Noire, i can't get the Complete Edition because of that. Is there any way to work around this and buy the DLC because Steam is the only place i can find in which i can get the DLC.

No the DLC is seamless in the game. It adds more cases spread out in the story.

I understand that, but the inability of buing DLC separately is kinda bad, even if they are story - driven.

Guess I'll buy the complete edition for other account (thanks to Russian prises and steam sale it is about 4 bucks now), because the game worth it.

So why does the DLC have its very on Steam page, and is linked to the regular edition, if can't be bought? Sorry if this is obvious.

As a side question is there a benefit to buying the regular edition over the complete edition?

The DLC had it's price and was available for purchase last time i checked (last time it went on sale) - buit not today.

I though it was available for purchase a few months ago.. Well thats a very silly decision on marketing. The problems are just piling up for this game, one of the few games thats better on console.

Buy complete edition and put it in your inventory, then ask steam support to delete game from your acount (They can't move them or change, but can delete if you ask), and after deleting install complete edition. XD (But you gonna need to explain why you want game deleted from your account) =3 Good luck)

That sounds ridiculous, how about we just not buy it until they fix such issues.

The DLC is definately available for seperate purchase. U can buy it from other online vendors AND it was previously available ON Steam for seperate purchase. This is a bug on their end. Email support until they get so sick of u that they just give it.

Bought the offer of L.A. Noire from the front page, then found out that only way to get the DLC is to buy a different edition of the game :(.

Would be great to be able to buy the DLC separately, since having to buy the game again seems ridiculous.

@ Fenri, Yeah I would assume that means u have the complete edition. But U could have also purchased the DLC at an ealier point in time and not remembered. But u have the DLC and the game so I wouldnt be bothered too much by whether or not u have the Complete Edition. U have everything that comes with it regardless.

@ Mark, Yeah it blows. I wanted to purchase the DLC as well. I had checked a couple times and the DLC was available but I hadnt played enough of the game to be sure I wanted it. But once I decided, I went back to purchase it and it was no longer available. It was $11.99 the last time I checked but now it is N/A. However, a quick google check will show u there are a couple online vendors avaialbe that u can purchase the DLC bundle from and download it. Only problem is, I do not know if u will be able to permanently link the DLC CD Key with your Steam account.
