Problem with continuing game after "Slip of the Tongue" Case.

I completed the "Slip of the Tongue" DLC case last week, and quit back to the main menu to exit the game, having had the game tell me on screen that it had saved my progress beforehand.

Having loaded up the game again today, instead of the CONTINUE option on my main menu, it said RESUME, which I clicked on to find a list of the save games, only to find that it loaded a save game from just before the final arrest of the case. :(

So I thought perhaps it hadn't saved it properly, so I just went ahead and completed the case again...but instead of moving directly on to the next case, "The Fallen Idol", the game sent me back to the main menu...which has completely confused me...and when I go to the case desk, "The Fallen Idol" is not available to select.

So i'm wondering - do I need to do the entire "Slip of the Tongue" case again from the case desk? Is my save game now screwed up so I need to start all over?

Any help or info appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. I replayed it and it still won't advance to " The fallen idol".

Please help with feedback on this post :(

Maybe you should try to restart this mission. Something went wrong. (I'm also pretty sure that if you can start the "Slip of the Tongue" from the cases desk, it means that you've finished it in story line. I can't help you more for now. Try to restart this mission in story mode. It'll probably last about an hour... But it's better then do nothing.)

I found the problem. I did a replay and i play on it.

Had the same problem... restarting it from a old save worked.
