just plug it in. have to use a usb controller though. can't be wireless

You're wrong. You can infact used wirelessly with little to no effort incase your computer is capable of Bluetooth communication or you have any type of Bluetooth Dongle.

Google "Motioninjoy", it's a program that allows you to play with a PS3 controller, both wired and wirelessly given the above mentioned requirements, and also supports most Generic Controllers, on any game as long as this has even the most basic controller support, which these days, is just supporting the 360 controller.

The program emulates that, so infact if you set up your controller right on that program (it has settings already for the PS3 controller), then you can technically play any game with controller support without any further configuration.

not much of a google user or a ps3 fan.using the xbox controller was good enough for me.most likely if u go the bluetooth way u spend more. if ur just looking to play the game, just buy the contoller.if u want to be all high-tech u might be spending more.

Im using motioninjoy for my ps3 controller. I dont have a wired xbox controller, just a wireless one with the charge kit

360 is great cause it just maps all the buttons right away as soon as you plug it in. You can buy wireless Xbox 360 PC controllers but they are getting harder to find. They come with a USB dongle you plug in to use them. I just bought a 3rd party USB wired one though. Works great and don't have to worry about it dying.
