Does this game work or I got to mod the hell out of it in order to get a decent experience?

Nothing else is needed to run it. Just install it, login via the launcher and play.

2) And play in 4k resolution even on Full HD display using downscaling.

3) In graphics driver activate sharpening settings.

4) With reshade mod you can add better lighting and ambient occlusion too.

You can try in lanvp.ini
skip_launcher_check=1

But does not work for me

Another hint: In game when you enter the car then you can press and hold that key to make your partner drive and skip some of the way.

When you enable lanvp 30 fps lock fix then in one mission there is a bug where you want to write with a pen on a paper but it does not work. Then disable the lanvp fps unlock and do the mission and after that enable lanvp fps unlock again
