15 hours or so for the main case files. Longer if you do all the side missions.

Nope, took me 21 hours to finish up till only the Vice desk. Have yet to finish the Arson.

Obviously it varies from person to person. Your playtime isn't the only playtime.

I'm 13hrs in and on the vice desk... plus i've done 24 side missions.Thats quite a discrepancy.

I'd guess its almost over so like rockhead said its probably about 15-16hrs long.

My first playthrough was 39 hours. I'm now on a second run, on homidside ( 1 case to go) which has taken 28 hours so far. I've been thorough this time round, getting 5 star ratings, street crimes, hidden veichles ect... I've also been doing all the driving this time round which seems to clock up the game hours.

It took me about 30-40 hours. But I opted for a full 100% completition because I really loved the game.
For a total, with all the achievements, exploring the LA of the 40's and getting all the cases right and seeing all the content that they have it's about 80 hours

I finished with 37 hours after played some side missions.
