Can't drive, punch

I can do everything normally except whenever I get near a car I go "You can drive" or something to that effect and get forced into the passenger seat, even without hitting any buttons. I also can't punch in fights unless I hit right mouse button just before left mouse button, and then let go and repeat. Any help?

Not sure about the driving, but for fighting, you have to hold the right mouse button to engage, then click the left mouse to punch, space to dodge, R (I think) to finish, and Q (I think) to grapple attack.

as you put E button long time, your partner will drive for you. if problme is existing without hitting the buttons, just check game option or your keyboard setting like macro.

I know this. I can hit Q just fine, but if I hold RMB and then hit LMB nothing happens. I have to quickly hit the buttons in succession.

I am not holding any buttons when it does this. I am only holding W to walk up to the car and then I get forced into getting in passenger seat. This even happened at the start of the game.

Some games controls will be messed up if a controller or other usb device is plugged in (while trying to use keyboard controls). You might check that.

I have to same problem with the driving, the game is constantly holding the button even after I changed the keybind it was still doing it

Developers do some wacky stuff.

Like Helldivers 2, having stratagem inputs on the same keys as movement by default is n00b killer

"Why can't I move and set stratagems?"
