L.A. Noire is Too Slow? I've tried everything?
The intro and menus work fine. They are running at 50-60 FPS. When I actually play the game though and go to look for clues and drive, it's running at 4-7 FPS. It's too slow for game play. I have entered all the commands suggested and my computer is up to date and meets the system requirements. I've followed all of the advice I found on the internet. I bought this on October 28th, but I have played for less than too hours. I applied for a refund and they denied me because I submitted for one after the two weeks that they ask for refunds. In the fine print below the email, they have written: "Requests are considered on a case by case basis and are not typically issued for purchases of released products that are more than 14 days old, or if the purchased product has more than 2 hours of playtime." OR under two hours. At the time I had only played the game for an hour and ten minutes, but now it's at an hour and twenty one minutes because today I kept trying to fix it so I can play it. I bought a twenty dollar game that is too slow to play and I can't get a refund or fix it. Does anyone have any ways to fix the game to make it playable? Do you think I deserve a refund? I'd appreciate any help given. Thanks! c:

Have you checked the System Requirements before buying the game?
OS: Windows 7 / Windows Vista Service Pack 1 / Windows XP Service Pack 3
Intel CPUs: Core 2.2 GHz to Quad Core 3.2GHz
AMD CPUs: Dual Core 2.4Ghz to Quad Core 3.2Ghz
RAM: 2GB to 8GB
Hard Disk Space: 16GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1536MB or Radeon HD3000 512MB to Radeon HD 6850 1024MB

As you can see NVIDIA or Radeon video card is required.

Have you tried running the game on lowest possible display settings?

Maybe its the Cpu, 2.53 GHz is not much, especially for an unoptimized Game.

Your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements, simple as that. Intel HD Graphics is an integrated card, while this game requires a dedicated card (NVIDIA or Radeon), no amount of driver updating/tweaking/support will fix that. Some games may run at playable speeds on integrated gfx at minimum settings but LA Noire seems too complex for that.

My objective opinion on this would be that you're not eligible for a refund since you are at fault here for buying a game that is above your system specs. Upgrade your gpu and you'll have a perfectly playable game.
