What are issues against Rockstar?

I am using Rockstar launcher in steam for Rdr2 and gta5 on epic so I don't have any problems per se .I am planning to buy this game and saw many negative reviews.so can anyone explain what are the issues and also please give some reviews about gameplay of game.I saw someone mentioned it is a type of walking simulator.please help?

Ign would give a decent review if you cant find a coherent one here.. and the problem for me at least is that the Rockstar Launcher crashes on opening. wont conncet to rockstar's servers or anything. just stops working.

Just people hating on the rockstar launcher in general and pissed they need to run it and be online to play just like GTA and RD.

The game is an interactive movie basically exactly like the Story to GTA V and RD2. Pointless free roam and large map head to story missions. Story missions add set pieces to the game and are very linear.

This game actually made me realise that GTA V and RD2 are actually interactive movie walking simulators as well interspersed with extremely easy combat or action scenes that if you have trouble with you can just skip with no penalty.

It is a good game tho if you are interested in the setting and like the idea of being an investigator.
