Shimering Faces glitch/bug
Im having trouble with La noire. im using the dx11 build with an msi r9 290x with the latest drivers. during what seems to be random moments, black lines that resemble shadow striping appear on coles and other npc's faces. does anyone else have this probelm, and whats the solution to it?

I'm getting this error as well. Not sure how to solve it.

I had the same problem, verifing the game cache fixed it for me.

ill see if that works, thanks!

I tried verifying the game cache, and it did re-download one file. The problem seemed fixed for about 20 minutes, but then it started up again.

I also tried updating my graphics drivers to the newest beta, but still no luck.

Finally, I tried reinstalling the game, but that didn't work either.

Are you guys running the game at 30 or 60fps?

60fps.

That's probably why. When you change the fps to 60, the facial captures get all messed up because they were recorded in 30fps. Try going back to 30 and see if it's fixed.

Running this at 30 and still having this issue.
I tried verifying game cache, as suggested above, with no luck.

I KNOW this is a fairly big necro but in case people look up this bug and happen across this (First result on Google when searching for the bug.) I just wanted to put this here:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1297015102

This fixes the game WITHOUT having to use DX9.
