LA Noire not launching - Suffering a Machine Type Mismatch issue

I got this as a gift from my brother, and was looking forward to playing this on my computer. Unfortunately, when I launch the game from its launcher, it loads for a while, before I get an error message saying "Machine Type Mismatch", with it stating that one of my dll files, "XInput 1_3.dll" is valid, but its for a machine type other than the current machine. I can't believe this is happening to me.

I'm not computer tech-savvy, so can someone help me out here? I played the XBox 360 version, and I'm dying to play this game again on my PC now... :'-(

SOLVED IT!

I took note of a discussion that featured a similar problem, right here -> https://steamcommunity.com/app/110800/discussions/0/364042703866795468/

What I did, was locate the dll file on the internet, and tried out different versions, basically with one in the game's folder within Steamapps; the second one I downloaded, fixed it, and I was past the issue and straight towards the game itself.

So for anyone suffering this problem in future, simply try out different dll files of the same type, in the affected game's folder.

I have to admit, it is quite annoying that a game you get as a gift from someone, then gets an issue on your computer, despite it having what is needed to run it.
