How's the gunplay?

I've known about this game for the longest time but It never interested me because it seemed really boring. I know it's not going to be max payne 3 level good, but I just want to know if the gunplay is solid like in terms of ragdoll physics and what not.

Ragdolls are solid (even your hat falls off if it gets shot or you get punched in the face) but you won't be shooting people on sight most of the time. Gunplay is not the focus of the game. The detective gameplay and good cop vs. bad cop interrogation mechanics is really cool though.

It's pretty awful due to the 30 FPS lock.

The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great. Shootouts are not the focus of the game, as has been stated countless times by countless outlets. It's the 30fps lock that breaks it for me. I get queasy just looking at it.
