You can't expect devs to update their games just to stop people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Shock horror game age it's a fact of gaming. The dev for this game no longer exists anyway. Rockstar are releasing a new version for consoles (inc Switch) maybe to stop whiners like you they can do a PC update even though I doubt it very much.

If they're porting the game to those platforms, it means they have access to the source code.

Rockstar could patch this version if they wanted to, but let's be honest, they won't. Not because they can't, but because they already have our money and the new ports are all about getting a ton of money from people who never bought the game.

Some publishers just DGAF about games on PC. They'll put games on Steam, GOG and elsewhere but beyond that it's like PCs are an inconvience. Wait til they start releaseing games for Mac only, there are some out there already.
What sort of upgrades do you want exactly? You can already play this in whatever resolution you like and I doubt the graphics will be better than pc

They did announced some enhanced graphics.
Also the original version always had problems with shadows looking grainy and pixelated (especially noticeable on the notebook) and during the rain you get some wonky lighting effects on the cars (It's really obvious during The White Shoe Slaying case), the headlights make a square shaped light that definitely shouldn't look like that.

There are other problems, which i thankfully don't have, but you can find them easily on forums across the internet: Buildings having flashing textures, Faces have a weird shimmer to them, FPS stuttering, crashes during cinematics.
It is a very bad port, maybe not as bad as GTA IV but it's up there.
So a new version, that was ported properly without the ton of problems would definitely be appreciated.

I never had any issues with graphic quality (GTX 1060 & i7-6700) but as Pixelbuster said you can change settings on the .ini file. Maybe your hardware just can't handle the game, happens, different components just don't work with a game even if the specs are good enough.

Quit nitpicking and using other peoples issues to further your own agenda. Read a guide, change some settings and enjoy the game. If you can't do that, go buy a console.

Would love them to give us these new enhancements for the PC version. But my hopes aren't too high....

They are bring it back to consoles in a couple of months with inhanced version and all DLC. Nothing for PC people. This again shows that the gaming community is still huge on consoles. All the gaming outlid out there talks about consoles more and PC is just an after thought. I hope PC people realized and don't think that consoles are dead anytime soon.

really this is the remastered lol... just a terrible port. lol

even game reviewers and ign when showing off the game on pc had a crappy time getting it to run great...

rockstar is very lazy when porting to pc..

gta 5 actually they first and really only great port they ever did... mostly cause they knew it will still sell great and really for the online business model they have set up......

rockstar really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ towards it pc fan base. been showing past 12 years or so lol

And retarded morons like are the reason why companies like Bethesda and others release unfinished, broken games with next to no quality assurance because blind fanboys will just say "It's your hardware, go buy a console, go to some ini files, it's not the companies fault"
Sad to see that people are so blind in their fanboyism that they can't even accept valid criticism about a product.

And, my hardware can handle Witcher 3 maxed out, it surely can handle this old game, rofl.
Why do you think that "L.A. Noire Pixelated Shadows" gives over 47.000 results?

I'm not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fanboy, kinda the wrong gender for a start. It's a 6 year old game and nothing to do with a new release. Maybe if the OP went to the R* forum they might have more luck getting their problem fixed although it's more likely they'll have their voice join with the many others complaining about R* games.

How long do you expect companies to patch/update games for? Your lucky if the big publishers go beyond 2-3 years on some games. Heck, Mass Effect Andromeda didn't even make 6 months before EA pulled the plug. I didn't say companies were blameless but at the end of the day they've got your money and people keep buying their games.

I rarely buy games from the main publishers on release because I know they will not work right console or not. Anything from EA and Bethesda especially will be have an arm's length of issues on release. Anyone stupid enough to buy a day 1 releases by either of those two really shouldn't complain. If they haven't learned by now or even listened to the many voices of wisdom they never will.

WTF are you on about? The PC is getting something. Exclusive VR content for the Vive, built from the ground up for VR. I plan on playing this Day One.

hope pc ppl stop buying Rockstar games.so maybe they learn how to treat customers..and stop they greedy politics of exclusivity ..like Red dead redemption..DON NOT BUY ANY ROCKSTAR BAD PORT...we all live better. and maybe they think twice next time.

just on pc really due to it not being a big market... gta 5 was different due to it being a online model along with it... they saw the profit
