Game still not able to get passed Sync screen/first loading screen

I feel as if i have tried everything but there may still be things i havent done, any tips?

It ran about a year ago just fine on my 970 but using a 1070 now would that matter? Might reinstall if thats the issue.

-This happens right AFTER the Rockstar/Team Bondi logos and right BEFORE the "neon sign" that says L.A. Noire.

UPDATE: Going to reinstall to a different drive and see what happens.

UPDATE 2: Now the game, on launch, is saying i have a fatal error and is missing socialclub.dll ?? Have tried solutions online as well as downloading social club manually. Will try and REINSTALL AGAIN for the third time.

UPDATE 3: Switched my game download BACK to my HDD (i tried my SSD and it gave me that "socialclub.dll missing" error) and now im back to square one, freezing on the sync screen. Going to retry the all the solutions again.

UPDATE 4: Still no definite (or really any) solution 1/18/2017

UPDATE 5: Deleted the game, used CCleaner to delete issues with registrys. Redownloaded the game, and got it to work... for about TWO launches then back to normal sync issues. REDID the steps and got it to work again for about another two launches. So... kind of fixed? 2/25/17

Is it hanging up at the game menu screen or is it the Rockstar Social Club program that starts up when you launch the game? I'm not sure what sync screen you mean. I've had a few issues in the past with the social club nonsense. Just today I went to start the game and it just went into a infinite loop looking for and update or something. I canceled it out and then launched the game and it went through to the black LA Noir box that then lets you launch the game.

I've also had it not load through the Social Club sign in resulting in another endless loop. I believe I just restarted the game and made sure my internet was connected. I also changed my Social Club password when I accidentally locked myself out because I kept inputing the wrong password.

Try a verify cache maybe before having to do a reinstall.

Its right after the Rockstar/Team Bondi intros. The screen is completely black and in the bottom right there's a "syncing" icon thats not moving. The game ends up freezing and i have to restart my computer because alt tab and ctrlaltdel don't work.

Also EVERYTIME i verify cache it ends up saying "1 file was not found and will be re-downloaded" but nothing changes.

You gotta create a stupid social club profile, just click create profile and make an offline one.

I have one. I can sign in, update, etc. its just stuck on the first loading screen (before the main menu pops up) in the game AFTER signing into social club.

There was a fix for this but I couldn't find it on my phone. Will give it another look from my pc in few hours and will make sure to post it here

First of all make sure your drivers are up to date. Secondly, try uninstalling Rockstar Social Club, download it from the official site and install it again. Let me know if it works, if not I will look up for more fixes.

Tried that. Now get "social club.dll not found". I also tried reinstalling social club through the L.A. Noire files but that didnt help either.

If you reinstall a Steam game, ALWAYS make sure to delete the Folder relating to it in your DOCUMENTS because this folder normally has an .ini file and your saves.
Also, if you install to a different drive, that ini fille will still be directing the game to your old location.
Lastly, your registry will still have all the old crap in it (old references) to vacated file locations. A good registry cleaner is recommended, one that will let you create a backup before it deletes all the old and obsolete references!

A clean registry and a regular dumping of old internet browsing files will make your pc run faster!

Be careful with that though(unless you know what you're really doing). I've run into major woes with CCcleaner as well as AVG's pc tune up tool. I'd stay away from that for now as I think its an issue with the stupidity of the Rockstar Social Club login stuff. I'd suggest holding out and let triX find those other fixes for you.

Got an infinite sync on the start screen with a neon sign. And I cant open RGSC UI cause pushing Home key have no result. Help please!

It goes without saying, but I assume you have installed the apps from the "3rd" folder inside L.A Noire. If you did that and it still doesn't work, uninstall Rockstar Social Club (again) and download it from here: http://techfaqs.net/file/download-rockstar-games-social-club/
