Bombing waves stupid question

It's been a while since I played, and I could have SWORN that if you wanted to bomb waves a ton of times, you would just hold shift, push B, and just click the wave a bunch, but that's not working.

What's the shortcut way to bomb tons of times, whether on waves, or on the map?

Indeed, that's how it goes in previous installments of GemCraft, like Chasing Shadows.
The the enraging waves mechanic in Frostborn Wrath is not bombing, but placing a gem in the socket that's just above the incoming waves tiles.

Upgrading the gem increases the enrage effect. dont forget to remove it or replace it with a lower grade gem when the waves become too difficult.
