I could, but ultimately I've lost interest in supporting it (including detailed explanations on upcoming features). My advice is to check King Javo's Youtube channel, it's not very active but I think you'll see a lot of features and game-play improvements that don't exist in Legend Bowl (and never will).
Thanks! Will do.
I personally found Legend Bowl a little more enjoyable because of the way the game is played. The fight for ten yards feels more of a thing. In college bowl, in my experience, the missed tackles (which dont exist in Legend Bowl basically) are fun but it leads to too many huge plays.
College Bowl at this point is an extremely buggy game. There are several practical fixes but it generally requires a fair amount of time and effort and perusing through their discord to fix what should have been fixed before launch. I didnt struggle with Legend Bowl just to make it work. But I played Legend Bowl on Epic Game Store so the version could be different and the bugs could be steam--based for all I know.
Legend Bowl with the NFL mod was quite fun. I personally enjoy the fictional universe of College Bowl better. The NCAA mod is a bit more "off" then the NFL mod but thats due to the waaaaay more complex nature of it. The gentleman that made the NCAA mod did a tremendous amount of work on it and it is awesome with plenty of detail and totally free for all to use so it's something that should be explored.
Both games are remarkably easy to mod. I dont mod games ever and I modded these with ease. The downside: you gotta join their discord to get the mods :(
I just lost interest and moved on. Providing information here when nobody else would was never really appreciated much, and ultimately it's not my responsibility to provide detailed information on these games.
Let people find the information if they're willing to do the work, otherwise go without it.
No clue who you are, but posting in every thread is a stretch. Only those where I thought useful information could be provided; which is few and far between unfortunately.
Sadly the dev ended the sale where Legend bowl was 10 dollars and instead did a summer sale for 12.50.
So I went to GreenManGaming and got it for 7 and change (8 dollars with my XP account and a coupon to get below that).
Assuming he increased the sale price due to College Bowl but ended up saving me some money regardless.
Edit: After playing this for a few weeks I would not recommend this game to football fans.
The worst parts of this game is your O-line won't block for more than 1-2 seconds before you have 4 defensive linemen sacking you no matter what difficulty you play on.
You also will throw to wide open receivers who will get "rattled" from nothing and just drop the ball.
Your blockers will be in front of you on a play but will completely ignore everyone on the defense, run like they have the ball, or run in the wrong direction towards the other end zone.
Players will get injured within the 2 minute warning but the team won't get penalized a timeout.
QB runs are completely broken leading to be doing constant onside conversions and going the entire field in only 2-3 plays (would be 1 but the stamina system is ♥♥♥♥).
Also the rubberbanding to let the NPC catch up is INSANE.
I personally tested this by dominating the NPC in the first 3 quarters being up 40+ to 0. The last quarter the other team scored 28 points and almost made a comeback until I started cheesing my offensive snaps and diving on the ground before a tackle taking a lose so my team would stop fumbling.
I could keep going but I'm glad I got this game so cheap because I would have refunded it otherwise.
