Momentum
I believe I know most of the things that affect momentum but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I've tried to make a list (let me know if anything is absent). Some of them I am not 100% sure on since I haven't tested all.

I don't think these work (teleport skills relocate you instead of movement?);

Teleport Crystal
Teleport Scroll
Blink
Teleport pads

These I am not sure of;

Dwarf Toss (I think it works?)
Emergency Tunnel (does not work?)- maybe a type of teleport?

These seem to work;

Movement that comes from weapon skills (ex blade rush)
Sprint
Movement granted from trinkets (both activated (run) and inherent. Excluding teleport related for example rogue armor?)
Movement granted by armor/weapons (obviously)
Movement granted by certain other perks aside from the aforementioned (leapfrog, relentless)

Are you asking to compile a list? Or some other reason?

The movement types that don't grant momentum will have the "No-Momentum" tag on them. So it should be easy to tell.

there is a specific tag "no momentum" on things that don't count, all other skills that move you give momentum, and "no momentum" is currently only on Warp Crystal, Teleport Scroll, Blink, Warp Gates and Emergency Tunnel I believe

Toss Me does build momentum, Stunning Entrance on Powerstaff is the longest range thing that builds momentum, The skill "vanish" on thief armour which is a 3 range teleport for 1 Movement point builds momentum

Just check the tags on the skill if you're unsure
Perfect, thx both of you.
Does momentum reset after every attack?

Like do I run 3 step attack, then run again 3 step attack or do I run 6 steps and attack twice?

It only resets when you use a momentum attack (skill tagged with "Momentum"). So you can often use other skills to build up the Momentum bonus.
Bumc Apr 30 @ 4:03am
They added momentum on sword blast (2h sword aoe).
This didn't really help the weapon itself, but used as a scroll you can absolutely obliterate enemy packs at the end of a turn even on a otherwise non-momentum character (specifically because momentum does not reset on regular attacks).

I have to check this out!

Momentum sword blast on the weapon itself is really good until you get Boom. Kills entire clumps of things like splitters, hoppers, lancers, whereas other momentum attacks can only kill 1.
Wait I always thought momentum buffs other skills too. If its only used up on skills with momentum tag, does momentum attribute do nothing for a hero without a single momentum skill?
Kaysoky May 4 @ 2:02am
That is correct. If you don't have a Momentum skill (or don't have Hunter's Arsenal), then momentum won't do anything. You won't see the momentum status either.

Damn. what about opportunism and isolation?
Kaysoky May 4 @ 2:07am
Those two apply to all attacks, subject to their conditions. Certain skills apply a multiplicative multiplier of isolation/opportunism too.

Thank you, very helpful. Yeah I guess I felt that those 2 were working so I just assumed momentum would be the same.

There is no reason to guess: when you target an enemy with some skill, there is a complete breakdown of applied modifiers in upper-right corner of the screen.

Bold of you to assume I can read.
