Human ballista and Initiator?
If human ballista attacks kill a mob does this negate the extra +2 multi attacks from initiator?

does this count as a character kill or a defense kill? I dont want to ruin a crazy multihit character I've built but usually human ballista is an automatic pick for me

So Human Ballista occurs at the end of enemy movement, which is before enemy attacks, and so is part of the previous turn (so before any armour/block buffs happen) so it wouldn't negate the extra multi hit from Initiator
The kills also count as hero kills, so don't give other heroes exp through defensive training, and would heal the hero with vampire if you made the damage physical for example
I do want to question why you feel Human Ballista is an instant pick, it's a maximum of 2 extra kills per turn, which in comparison to what your multi hit build is probably already capable of, feels pretty insignificant and there are lots of perks that allow for more potential and combos?
mmm, I just find that it's an easy pick for a lot of heroes because it is always good. I still have a lot to learn in terms of the different synergies available. But I feel like when its available on heroes I usually go for it as the 2 extra kills/turn are more significant than the other perks available by the time I've picked the core 8 for my build.

Like my hero maxing Mana and damage buffs from having mana, and mana cost reductions can always benefit from two extra kills, same for my HP maxing vampire, same for my block and stun maxing tank character.

Human ballista is always good but its also always worse than something else.

Its a good low bar for a perk consideration -- is this better than a human ballista?
yeah, I guess I just feel like killing 2 random enemies isn't as valuable to me as being able to kill 1 extra enemy of my choice? or being able to spend less effort and resources on hero positioning like defensive perks or movement perks can give?
