Need advice on Elderlicht at Apocalypse 3

I even beat Glintfein and all other at Apocalypse 3 but Elderlicht at Apocalypse 3 seem to be the hardest. I try more than 7+ times already, mostly stuck on halfway. Not sure what I do wrong, need some advice. ( x_x)a

The strategy in the Elderlicht section here is tailored for Apoc 4+ (when things cost 20% more) so if applied at Apoc 3 you'll be able to accomplish things a little faster (and have more defenses).
There are omen suggestions and build orders as well as other tips listed there

The big thing is to use Catapults. A lot of people miss that they deal physical damage which means it does double to armor. This makes them very good in general....
But in particular you can fire 1 time at a huge cluster of enemies and completely wipe out their armor (and kill the weaker ones) --- this makes it easy for a hero to blast through what's left on that turn.

Early nights are somewhat mild, so build your strategy around late game power. This includes but is not limited to:
-better level up upgrade omen.
-mercenary training omen
-gold mine asap, double well fast, house max next, max production facility before you really start splurging in the shop.
-prioritize builds that scales with more stats: propagation, multishot, momentum
-don't pick the +1 hero start omen if you can manage early game without.
-push back mist everyday. It's essentially investing workers for more exp as you can stay on less heroes and not rely on defense as much.
-or you can not push back mist and farm corpses within the haven. Don't wall on the edge if you go this route.
-you can always kite the ghosts sideways instead of towards your walls to save the AP you'd spend on the brasiers.

This strategy made Elderlicht significantly easier for me. I used it and beat APOC3 with this strategy.
