You generally do not keep a lot of stuff laying around (or at least you shouldn't) - usually just a weapon or two that were good but currently did not fit one of your characters but you are planning on recruiting one more guy next day or something.
When you gather a lot of items via corpse piles and/or production buildings, remember that you do not have to dump all of them into your stash. I tend to open loot until I found one or two that I am sure I will swap in, then go to the city stash, swap equip and then immediately sell the rest. Then go grab the next handful of items.
That way you also do not accidentally pick up two similar upgrades (like, say, two of the same weapon that kinda only one guy uses) that you then can not even utilize. Remember that you can item compare directly on the looting screen. You can use the F1-F5 keys to select characters and tab to swap weapon sets to compare to.
I do this sorting a few times every run. On day 0, I strip off everyone, sort and reassign, then again around day 2, then maybe a couple more times.
I guess it could be useful, but not very, some players could prefer a different way of sorting.
I also think that there is a need to modify the "lootboxes".
After the appearance of items should immediately show the characteristics, and the top to indicate the price of the item. Now, that would know the characteristics and price of an item (sometimes such that the items are not needed, but you want to sell the most expensive) have to put the mouse on each item. This is annoying.
In addition, sorting that is now in my opinion is not good enough. Subjectively, I think I need to add a category for each of the parameters of the characters. I personally at the start of a new game look heroes for what to identify and determine the direction of pumping. Often builds on the maximization of 2-3 characteristics. For example, playing through single-handed crossbow important items with Multi-Hits. One important characteristic alone makes gray items much more useful than a rare item.
As a rule, micromanagement time in the daytime is much longer than the battle at night. It is necessary to look through each item for the right characteristics. Unnecessary items to sell, the necessary items to leave for a new character. After another night, the right items are mixed in with the new items. In short, it's a living hell.
i'm doing the same and i also think lot of ppl do that
i was looking for a mod about it, but it seems like we can not mod this aspect ( ? )
menaging all your items on maps with +8 nights is realy tedius and qol feature is clearly lacking here
if there is an issue with the current game then this is it
