Yea I think we all said as much when it was first put into the beta. Nobody liked it iwas boring and not fun to do. Hopefully they can make it better with future updates.

I'm not a fan of it either. The game already has WAY to many mechanics and things going on. Turns take way too long for me to figure out already. Now they want me to deal with multiple (honestly) nuisances every wave? It's just another thing to think about when there are frankly already too many things to take into account.

I love the game but now that I hit this town it's killed my desire to go forward.

Yes, I kinda agree with this thread: the mecanic in itself is quite good, but when you have to hit these things 5 times (10 AP!!!), it definitively become boring and not that fun :/
I hope there will adjustment on that soon :)

Great game though, keep up the good work :)

Yeah got to agree. Don't like the mechanic either. Though I'm finding Elderlicht in general does not agree with me. not a fan of the way the flags are telegraphing difficulty and positioning. Cannot help but feel it's way off on this map and the system, in general, does not make sense. one skull difficulty on Elderlicht is very different from one skull difficulty on Lakeburg for example yet that is not clearly defined anywhere.

Well , you shouldn't judge based on other players' opinion. Actually it is not so bad.
Developer already said each maps is harder than before.
A different mechanic give each map a fresh experience instead of a "same gameplay but different map layout"

There are much tricks/tips many can provide, such as the one in the guide or some comments at there.

Also, sometimes play differently let us discover new technique. Like I never aware Leap Frog can actually so game changing.

I wouldn't actually not continue TLS because of the comment, but I hope to God that the comparison is bad. Because I DID quit XCOM due to timed missions lol.

I am at night 14 now.
I outfitted all my heroes with +AP potion also also gear with bonus AP.
Now 3 out of 6 heroes has 8 base AP. Everyone can drink AP potion for extra pinch deal with enemy.
I push the mist back to maximum everyday.
Now every nights enemies die VERY FAR from the wall.
I have to actively delay my kill to to hope build up "bigger corpse" near my wall for loot.

I hire extra hero ASAP, I got around 6 heroes at night 8.
Having more heroes mean "more AP" and "more coverage"

I noticed teleporter is indestructible.
So? I build them around the map outside the wall just in case I need to teleport anywhere for any heroes support any lane.
I don't use gold mine for money, I use "gear selling price" method and omen.
I start gear production at Day 1. Since "outfitting heroes with the right gear" worth more than money.
Money is is only for me to refresh shop item and check for top notch gear only (mostly they don't)

This will be my 1st time reach night 15 so I not sure what is waiting for me. But so far this map is a breeze once I hire max heroes and get AP potion.

You can actually debuff the soulbound enemies with propagation. You can't target them directly but you can turn them into insignificant enemies for a period of time. At least the ones that deal direct damage and not the mages.
