Report a translation problem
Tried cache verification, restarting, without galaxy or any overlay...
I could play fine during the EA period, not sure what's causing the problem.
May I ask you all to post your DxDiag and your Crash Dumps folder ?
You can do so by uploading them to any cloud service and post the link to the files here.
If you don't know how to get your DxDiag :
Search "dxdiag" with the Windows research tool, open the app, and save all the info as a file on the bottom right.
For the Crash Dumps, this path will lead you directly to the files inside the folder (copy paste it in your windows file explorer) :
%Appdata%/../Local/CrashDumps
These might help the team figuring out what's wrong why the V1.
I'll let this topic in the General Discussion a little bit more in case some people don't check the Technical Support one.
Log files doesn't show much apart from some NPE for the Aura plugin.

Edit: Just went ahead and completely uninstalled the Aura software and rebooted, now the game works (did not re-install the software). So possible "fix" if other have the same error in the logs.
It appears that deleting the AuraLayerManager.dll file may just be a temporary fix, since you may encounter the issue again after the game gets an update (it might dowload the file again). Asus informed them that such error may occur when using an outdated version of Asus Aura software.
So, installing the newest Asus Aura firmware should solve the problem:

They apparently also advise to upgrade to their Armory Crate platform (might be a good idea to update it if you already have it and that it isn't up to date on your side):

Uninstalling the Aura Software might also be a solution, as Gnejs suggested.
Hope this will solve the issue for good for you !
Also, I want to point out that there is another kind of crash linked to UnityPlayer.dll that the team is also still investigating. But it may take some time considering that the week-end is here.

Addendum :
It also appears that there is a similar issue with Dragon Center (MSI program), if you have this program try to update it. Some others similar (RBG/Fan/CPU related) programs that are not up to date might be causing the issue on your side.

Game wouldn't start yesterday, just got a black screen.
Today, I tried playing again and it did start, played a round and quit.
Tried restarting the game, got nothing but black screen.
