Couldn't agree more, it's still very good. Slightly less broken but still top tier.
Don't need the MS debuff, currently it wreck much tanky enemies.
This topic is pointless and sounds more like a rant from a person who didn't even play the current version.
But now that enemies are slowed by wounds, the game feels a lot more tactical overall.
That said I made sure not to research almost all the weapons so I don't get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ drops.
Crossbow/Hammer/wand is where it's at :>
Yah my guy did 12k dmg in one turn using hand crossbow. Had like 100% crit and 200% crit power. Multi-hit is *really* strong, and they only had +1 multi-hit.
The armor piercing is also super good.

Did the same thing with a basic longbow+4 criting it for 2500. If you can stack multihit which is a rare stat to find on gear or through level ups already it could be powerful but that is so dependent. Other weapons are better.
In general weapon balance in this game is still pretty bad. There are still clearly better weapons that you will look for each run and determine if you win or lose.
Its too good wave clear and single target combined, and cc with -2 move. Its just covers everything whih should not be the case. I think skill one should be nerfed or at least charges cut in half.
If you ask me weapons are far better balanced than they were in beta, each build has multiple compatible weapons now and many builds are viable. In the beta most weapons were weak besides the xbow which was absurdly broken with multi hit and propagation stacking, and the shortbow which had spammable AoE that hit way harder than it should.
