Stuck / Bugged?

I just lost my first game, and a menu showing a yellow light and a purple light appears. If I click the yellow light it takes over the screen and says "Rejoice oh earth and sea for I have come with gifts in hand."

Then I click and the light moves to the center of the screen, and from there I can't do anything. No action to take, clicking does nothing, enter does nothing. I closed the game and restarted and tried again and same issue.

What am I supposed to do here? This is pretty annoying as I can't progress and seems like a bug.

Changing resolutions and putting it in windowed mode fixed it for me. For some reason the CTA to continue the conversation appears way off screen when the rest of the game was fine. Please fix this devs.

Can you answer the following questions?

- Did you download the latest update? (the changelog is available here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1105670/discussions/1/3118160027735908453/)

- If you didn't, do you own an ultra-wide monitor? If yes, is your "Big Screen UI" option enabled in the game setting?

- If you own an ultra-wide monitor and your big screen UI option is enabled (and you didn't download the latest update), can you try to disable it? It's the sixth choice at the bottom left side of the setting.

I believe so, I bought the game last night so downloaded it for the first time then. It says the game was last updated at 7:31pm central time on June 4th. If there's a way to check the game version I'll do that.

I don't, but I do have a somewhat odd setup - I'm streaming from my gaming PC to my macbook over Steam streaming. My gaming PC does not have a monitor connected, and my macbook is running the game at the highest resolution in the dropdown (~2500 something). Since the Mac has a denser dpi, running games at higher resolution settings usually provides a crisper image.

Since I don't have an ultrawide monitor, I didn't try this.

Oh, I just saw your previous answer!
Glad you found a workaround to fix it though! :)

We're already investigating this resolution issue to find a fix and update the game accordingly asap.

I had the same problem with the yellow light and i must also change my resolutions to fullscreen without the big screen UI option to see the dialog on the right side of the screen. I bought the game today with the latest patch and i have an ultra-wide monitor.

I just bought the game today, on the latest update and had this issue? I don't seem to be able to change the UI settings and alt enter to exit full screen doesn't work. Do I get something at the end after a loss?
