Poison Shouldn't be a unique damage type
Right now poison doesn't synergize with pretty much anything. You have to explicitly upgrade poison everything. So poison heroes are commited to 100% poison builds, or no poison at all.

It should just be magic/phys, instead of a unique type. I'd also let it crit.

Everything doesn't have to be the same. But there isn't enough poisen stuff to justify a unique type. It doesn't directly synergize with anything.

Poison is a secondary stat anyway, It's something you put level ups into if you get a good roll into it, or if you pick the perk, otherwise its not worth focusing on.

It would be cool if there was a perk that scaled poison damaged based on another main stat though.

I'd rather it remain is own thing but got more synergy like OP said.

I agree that it should stay seperate but macking more actual good uses for poison would probably be good then
right now the only 2 weapons that come to mind that can use poison well are the orb and the druid staff (and i only ever realy found myself using the druid staff) Sure things like the 1h xbow have poison too but its just to weak to spec into (and its the only ranged weapon with poison so you most likely build ranged dmg meaning you wont want to switch)
