Oddly enough dodging works wonders.
He's not as speedy as he seems and tends to get himself stuck in his combos, giving a decent enough opening to whack him in the back.
If you don't have re-block unlocked, blocking doesn't quite work on him, because that damn stick keeps breaking you block on the first hit of his combo.
Although I only got that figured out when I fought him with Kiryu.
lol I kinda lucked through it with Saejima because I had enough powerdrinks to survive.
I like the fact that Saejima looks a little like the protagonist of Hatred
