Gamepad not working?

Anyone else having a issue with controller not working? I use a Xbox 360 controller which work fine on other games but does not work on this game. I've tried reinstalling and verifying the game files neither of which seem to have fixed the issue. Does anyone else have a fix for this that has worked or is it a bug that hasn't been fixed yet?

Did you try the suggestion posted by the developers on the Technical Support thread?

I'm also having this issue, even after enabling generic gamepad configuration support. I'm using a PS3 controller via USB.

Same, I'm still having the same issue. Have tried XBone, 360 and generic controller. Recognizes the first input at main menu, then no controller buttons work. Controllers work fine in other games.

usually when I get a game that doesn't recognize my controller, I go into the properties of the game, and change "Steam Input Per-Game Setting (Requires restart of game)" to Forced On... if that doesn't work, try Forced Off, just to be certain..

I'm having these issues too, doesn't work with Xbone One or 360 controller.
I get better joypad support in keyboard mode from my Steamlink, than I do in controller mode

Odd I have the same issue with a 360 wired controller. The only entry that is recognized is at the main menu for "Press any key"

Just tried the game for the first time using my DS4 via bluetooth. Works perfectly for me.

I have this problem too, with a wired 360 controller. The game definitely recognizes my button press (press any key works, and the input hints change from [enter] to [a] when I use the gamepad) but none of the buttons do anything. I tried all of the different gamepad settings I think, between steam's general configuration and the game-specific ones. :(

Having the same issue. I can press once to get to the menu, but after that, no button presses are recognised. (XONE Controller with Dongle on Windows 10)

Same thing, game sees gamepad, but not interact with him.

Make sure you don't have a second controller plugged in.

Had the same problem with my Dualsense controller. I solved it by deleting vJoy from my computer which was recognised as a second controller by Steam.
