Finally, you also have the infected. With the very little info that gets provided, these surely feel like an easter egg teaser for the major enemy of the sequel.
BAD END: "I will take revenge on this horrible man who has done horrible things to myself and everyone on this station"
GOOD END: "Ah! I see now. Revenge is bad. I shouldn't exist.Goodbye <dies>"
Like, what? What??? What is this garbage?
1. Killing Greenbel ultimately doesn't erase all the harm he has caused.
2. Her whole thing from the start was to use energy for good, and not "bad" like harming other creatures, destroying the environment, etc.
3. So destroying more of the planet as collateral damage isn't what she would want.
Basically, the realization in the true end was never that "revenge is bad." It's more like "everything revolving around EF is so messed up, destroying the planet in order to kill the one guy who was the catalyst of everything won't make things better/even."
Also, from a writing standpoint, the potential for new content/sequel is dampened if the last of the main cast is dead.
Rayark are great.
