Mastery on fused creature cards?
I would like to suggest that creature cards that have been turned into essences and applied to other creature cards should be considered "mastered" when you complete a run.

That card was technically purged which is why it isn't, but the card was actively in your final deck in some form when you achieved victory. I think that should be considered a mastery condition.

I don't really think it's a big deal that it's not, but I thought it was incorrect that it wasn't.

The fused creature isn't really an active participant though, which is what the mastery is meant to denote. Especially for monsters like Transcendimp or Animus of Speed that give Endless and Quick respectively, which are just upgrades you can get at a merchant of steel.

I'd actually like if there was a seperate "infusion" mastery, that showed a nice little graphical indicator on if you've beaten the game w/ said infusion

I agree with ShinryuEXE, especially since essences are not exactly created equal. Getting some insane essence from a unit you'd never have taken otherwise and pretending it's the same as if you actually finished the run with said unit would be quite a stretch. Like, there is literally zero downside with the consumer of crowns essence for instance, even though the unit itself actually requires a specific setup to put in play. It would be a bit weird for the game to pretend that infusing it into another unit was similar to having had the consumer in your finishing deck.

I also agree with Gabriot that it'd be pretty cool to have a way of keeping track of your infusions, especially since that might push you to try combos you haven't yet thought of, kind of like how mastering cards pre-dlc would (at least in my case), occasionally tempt me to pick a card I'd normally disregard.

(Also, side note: are you the Gabriot who created the cool youtube guides? If so, thanks for the hard work!)

I am! And thank you as well, it's always nice to get any feedback to know those guides are still finding use :) I do plan on doing some DLC related ones in the near future.

Well I'm looking forward to them. :)
I've learnt all kind of tricks watching them and I'm grateful for all the work you put into it. So I'll be keeping an eye out for your future videos, thanks for everything!
