Any chance of this game getting a switch port? I'd love to play it on the go.

Currently we are very focussed on getting Monster Train released on Steam, after that we are seriously exploring other platforms!

I look forward to that possibility, and the upcoming release. Your demo has been oodles of fun.

Seems like a game that would lend itself perfectly for the switch, although I hope, if it comes, it will be a better port then Slay the Spire.. the handheld mode with touchscreen is pretty bad, the text too small and the cards unreadable because they appear half above and half under the screen (the handheld mode was the reason I bought it for the switch)

Keeping an eye on this for Switch! Given the vertical nature of the play field, I wonder if this would work with a "Tate" mode for handheld?

Please do! It'd be an insta-buy for me!

I also vote for a Switch version. I'd gladly get it again for it to be portable.

Well the game basically looks like a mobile game just in its art. Tonnes of comments about that already and it’s true. So there’s indication that imo this will/should/has got to come to switch/mobile.

Art aside, I’ve watched a fair few play throughs just on my Xs Max and it’s immediately apparent that all buttons, and UI are right-sized for smaller screens. I can read all text and feel like I’m playing it right on my phone based straight on YT videos.

Conners mentioned a concern about the ‘vertical nature’ being a concern. Well my opinion is that it’s not like the current PC version even tried to cram everything in the vertical on to the screen anyway. The PC version could’ve fit so much more on the screen but it didn’t. ie, I think they’ve already thought about switch/mobile devices, that’s my hunch.
On mobile/switch you’d have the exact same view as PC and scroll up/down just as you already do on PC.

IMO, UI/text wise, this game is ready to roll on switch and I really hope it comes to mobile too.

I mean, look at a screen shot of the game on your phone. Let alone watch a YouTube player scroll the mouse pointer over the End turn button. The End turn button damn near gives the mouse pointer size adequacy insecurities.
Check out the size of the mana thingies in the bottom left. They’re ridiculously huge if this was just meant for PC.

Congrats on the release! The game looks amazing. +1 to this thread though, as annoying as that might be, haha.

Seriously would absolutely LOVE having this on the Switch. I dunno how popular it is to do, but I personally just use my Switch to play Indie games on the go with me. Darkest Dungeon, Dead Cells, Slay the Spire, etc. Switch seems like its strong enough to handle most if not all sorts of indie games and the portability of it really makes it nice. Playing these games on my lunch break at work really helps me get through the day, haha.

If its ultimately not beneficial for you guys to bring it to the Switch, I'd understand. I'd be sad, but I'd understand.
