What's your favorite hero/clan combo?
Umbra is my favorite clan, and Primordium is my favorite of the two heroes. I'm not a huge fan of Hellhorned as a primary clan, but I think they support Umbra well. They have a couple of things that add fragile and multistrike, which in most cases is terrible, but if you've got 15 layers of shield (thanks Crucible Warden) it is well worth it. Being able to ascend units is nice too, since Umbra can only push them down with their own cards.

I can see myelf liking Wurmkin as a support class once I get better with them. I think their units are quite weak, but some of their extract support spells are excellent. Plus bogflies are fun :)

Edit - I meant Primordium, not Penumbra.

I've always been drawn to Awoken personally. I like their aesthetic, as well as the design and mechanics. Cultivation was a good addition to their clan identity as well. I prefer the Sentient over Wyldenten. I like my frontline units to be big ol' walls. Not sure I have a favourite combo clan with them ... I want to try more runs with Wyrmkin as the allied clan; their units tend to be on the squishy side, so seem like a good mix with Sentient.

Since the DLC/update, I have also come to really like Little Fade, especially her Eternal Flame path. With the right card combos she can get out of control really fast which is awesome. I like teaming up with Hellhorned for solid tanks, rage synergies, and armour (especially with the right relics).

I can't say I have a disliked clan, but I suppose having to choose, probably Umbra is my least favourite at the moment. I feel like there's less space to work with morsels, and to generate them. I at times just don't want to deal with the mechanic.

Definitely Little Fade (exile melted) for my favorite hero/clan. Embarassingly, I've never actually even used the Fire Light path, which i hear is the most powerful. But a mix of Eternal Flame and Little Icarus is a ton of fun and quite strong; she comes back automatically, gets stronger every death, and can often get two kills between her quick attack and spikes. Getting as many kills as possible with her every turn is a fun little minigame within each combat. Plus starting with reform access is great, and I generally really like melted's units - there's a lot of really good ones, including the run-winners that are Legion of Wax and Bounty Stalker, but the wickless baron and tycoon are both pretty solid too. Bombs are fun, and draff is common card with an OP essence.

Secondary... I feel like hellhorned primary? Torch is reliable and reasonably good backline killing, and hellhorned just overall has pretty solid units and spells. Armor can also help little fade get extra kills with spikes. But I'm also a big fan of Awoken primary. Awoken has solid units, including the two sweepers and the animuses. The restore trigger units can be pretty solid too - specifically, I generally prefer picking restores to rootseeds because Steelsinger is a run-winner with them.

Remnant. No contest. I don't care what the other clan is as long as I can play with my legion of dead. I don't even mind if MR is secondary. Little Fade is my favourite of its heroes since her rework, but I enjoy Rector as well.

I love playing MR with Hellhorn because I'm *a little bit* obsessed with imps (they've been made even more awesome with the infusions and reforming imps is just super fun), but honestly I'm fine with any MR combo. If I can play Remnant/Remnant I'm set forever.

I do enjoy having Primordium or Wyldenten as mains though. And I'm really having fun with Echowright so far, but it's a bit too early to know if it's just the appeal of the new toys.

For me right now, my favourite would have to be Stygian primary and Umbra secondary. Why? Because morsels really help the Stygian champions especially coldchannel Solgard.

Little Fade is definitely my favorite champ, second place goes to Primordium. These are the two S tier champions in the game, while Penumbra languishes in D tier.

Favorite secondary for both is exile Awoken.

Second tier(A) of favorites are Echowright, and Shardtail queen. Echowright works best with Hellhorned, Awoken, or Umbra, Shardtail queen works best with Melting Remnant or Umbra.

remnant with everything... usually. can confirm the rise of interest in imp builds. you can do insane things with that new imp unit and one ( or two ) endless armor imp with burnout1 on turn one...

I just love Shardtail queen imp decks. Chasing that perfect deck to break the game is the most fun for me. I like to combine her with melting or awoken, but pretty much any combinations works fine.
