resto deto + awoken giant + 1 +10 damage stone on the resto deal with front and back tank. keep on griding to get the multi strike tome as well.
Vinemother and Thornfruit add a sting to your hand every round, so you just burn the sting and never have to lose an actual spell if you want to.
Preserved thorns adds 3 stings to your hand. Not quite as reliable but gives you a lot of extra cards to burn.
If you know you're going to be up against the sap version you can lean heavily on spikes (which aren't affected by sap) and/or massively buffed units. If you're stacking +8 attack on a unit every round (ideally one with multistrike), that creature really doesn't care if Seraph saps it once every 3 rounds.
Go wrathful(slay = armor, revenge = rage)
your spikes will give you armor from the back liners it kills, as you are taking damage.
you can essentially tank a whole line without much assistance, and by the time the boss comes round you can solo the boss.
obviously you need to calculate your slays and incoming damage, but i'd say its a low skill deck compare to other hell horned builds.
just be to keep your deck clean and add spikes when you can., if you don't draw spikes in your first few turns it can be tricky.
