Any tips for Hellhorned x Awoken?
I find this comp quite hard to play with, especially against the last boss who either sap your units or consume your spells.

depends on your deck but i think hellhorned x awoken is one of the stronger unit comps. reaper 2 multi attack 1 champion basically laughs at sap as he has 80 (after sap applies) damage and start scaling hard AF while awoken gives him all the tanking he needs to not get rekt. also hellhorned is less reliant on spells so consume is pretty irrelevant ((again depends hard on deck). they felt the most straight forward to play honestly as you get a beefy awoken tank and put your champion behind and buff it a bit early then watch him scale into a beast in late.

resto deto + awoken giant + 1 +10 damage stone on the resto deal with front and back tank. keep on griding to get the multi strike tome as well.

You can hard counter Seraph's spell consuming version using Awoken cards -

Vinemother and Thornfruit add a sting to your hand every round, so you just burn the sting and never have to lose an actual spell if you want to.

Preserved thorns adds 3 stings to your hand. Not quite as reliable but gives you a lot of extra cards to burn.

If you know you're going to be up against the sap version you can lean heavily on spikes (which aren't affected by sap) and/or massively buffed units. If you're stacking +8 attack on a unit every round (ideally one with multistrike), that creature really doesn't care if Seraph saps it once every 3 rounds.

Reroll until you get sharpen/spikes in your starter deck.

Go wrathful(slay = armor, revenge = rage)

your spikes will give you armor from the back liners it kills, as you are taking damage.

you can essentially tank a whole line without much assistance, and by the time the boss comes round you can solo the boss.

obviously you need to calculate your slays and incoming damage, but i'd say its a low skill deck compare to other hell horned builds.

just be to keep your deck clean and add spikes when you can., if you don't draw spikes in your first few turns it can be tricky.
