Advanced prototype is insane.
feels like a free win any time you get it.

Eh.... it's still a pretty ♥♥♥♥ unit once you got any other clan or ally monster.

Definitely disagree. It IS nice if you can get it as your first artifact or really early, but even then... a 5/8 is not very good! It is usable, especially with mass-buff like the rage imp and the like but as stated it falls short of other regular monsters which are typically a 10/15 with some special ability for a 1 mana, 2 slot dude. Clearly a 30/4 is a better backline hitter and a 10/15 that gains free armor every turn is better as a tank. Getting into more expensive monsters like the demon fiend 50/50(!) shows how poorly the conductors scale.

But that artefact and that Big Rune that buffs everything and it's size... now THAT'S some beefy basic units.

Try that strat on CoV25 and let us know, instead of 7. (According to your HP, you would've been dead if you had 60 less HP, like you do in CoV25)

Yeah, I took a lot of damage on one ring where I badly misjudged the timing and placement on some reforming units. I was as low as 5 pyre hp at one point I think. It also had nothing to do with using the stewards; I just flat out messed up placing units altogether on that battle. It was my second time trying to use the melting clan I'd just unlocked and I was still figuring out how Burnout and Reform even work. Also my first C7 attempt. I got the game two days ago. :D

Considering that, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Im only on 16 atm and its super great on the first couple fights. If you dont manage to get a decent unit fast you can even dump some gold into upgrading one to at least have a thicc boi to help you along into better things. I end up deleting most of my stewards before the end though. I might just keep one as a blocker if i upgraded him out of desperation.

Yeah, I think this is one of the best artifacts you can get as a starting bonus. Was surprised to see it buffed so much. I suppose that's because it's only great as a starting bonus.
While the power of the stewards tapers off gradually, the pyre health it is expected to save and the additional trials it allow you to confidently turn on is quite impressive. If you have accessible floor stacking they might even be effective in the later stages.

But yeah, a disappointment to find this as a trial award by the 5th circle.

Yeah, when I got it as my startifact I basically just decided to go all-in on it. Adding another layer of multistrike on one makes for a respectable 10x3 / 13 creature with damage shields to help sustainability, and if your clan's got any decent enhancements to add onto that they can quickly get out of hand. I was abusing a Holdover Razorsharp Edge on mine since the damage shield let them keep doing savage damage even on very little health. Good times!
