New President bought a player for me?

Anyone had this? He bought a really expensive player with the highest wage on my team and he is injury prone, now the board is also analyzing me for how this player performs??? WTF? Really?

I am not a noob, the staff instructions are set so I hand this kind of things.

Ive had alot of other problems with new board mechanics, but they have yet to buy me a player :D
They usually sell my expensive star players for peanuts and blocking the transfers for my perifer sqaud players. I had a transfer blocked now by a player valued at 4,2, the board think he should sell for 60 lol

Hey man, thanks for replying I am losing my mind, nothing in the settings is enabled so they can decide this.

I am playing with Boca Jrs. from Argentina, the club is ok financially. What is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up is I have some players that are getting paid way way too much, they are on loan so I can´t sell them because the club where they are won´t make an offer and other clubs are not interested or can´t offer idk how that works.

And which is worse, their contracts end at the same time their loan ends, so I can´t wait for the laon to end to try to sell him and then make him accept a lower contract due to clubs not being interested in him or wanting to pay him that high wage. And if I try to renew his contract now he will ask for crazy wage...

If Boca President actually accepted this kind of deal he is a moron, which he is so I can´t blame FM for this.

I mean yes it was nice from him but I would have been able to get something a lot better and the wage we are paying him it is killing me. I think its awesome, this is how real life managers have it sometimes.. I know clubs (even in a medium rep league as my countries top div) that have owners like this.. tell something, then do something else, then buy something overpriced that cripple the club.. Its pretty funny tbh.

Well to be fair with the game, last President did something like this IRL but the media blamed him when the player wasn´t performing... Things are a bit different here tho, clubs can´t have owners by law, all are Nonprofit organizations.

I guess I will have to deal like this somehow

I love the idea of this new feature although its prolly gonna be a massive pain in the ass if it ever happens to me. Sounds like it tighten up some tho. You should report it as a bug so you get a year or so til it effects your record.

Well thanks for everyone that shared their input on the matter, I did report it just in case. Yeah it is actually a big pain in the ass, they paid for him 8.5M, valued in 4.5M. He is not doing well in training either, he has low determination. I never waste money in old player with low determination unless it is a massive boost for my club, anyway.... so annoying.
