fm20 worth buying??
huge fan of fm, been playing since 2014 and probably have at least a couple thousand hours clocked. I have FM19 and i've seen many reviews saying there isn't much difference between 19 and 20. Some saying match engine is crap, strikers missing loads of chances and wingers/fb doing ridiculous stuff.

I feel FM2020 is the best FM created in terms of the game as a whole. The team building, the micro managing and tools we have to keep the players happy is better than ever.

As others have stated, the match engine is not so great at the moment. It's dominated by fast players that dribble through defences too easily, and overpowered through balls and one on ones.

I honestly feel this is the worst match engine in years.

The difficulty of the game however, is really good. I feel its the first FM in over a decade that is actually tough to win leagues with poor sides. It's harder to create a dynasty quickly and to dominate the game. This is basically what has kept me playing so far.

For a number of years, I have created "super tactics" from scratch and won the league and UCL + all the cups from season one with any team I start with, even newly promoted sides.

This time around it's not as easy, making the game more enjoyable on that front.

As stated however, the match engine is not good...and I mean NOT GOOD at all. It needs to be patched.

I have given FM a negative review because of this, and I would honestly wait for when the game is patched to address these issues. Then I would download the DEMO (because the demo also gets updated) and see if you like the game or not. You can play 6 months (in game) with the DEMO and that is the best route to go at this point in time.

Stick with 19, you aren't missing anything

no not worth buying at full price yet, too many bugs/issues to make the game enjoyable.

Well definitely you are right here. What irritate me the most is how easily players stand behind your defence. everything is one on one by the keeper. Worst fm in years.

Best way would be to see for yourself. You can try a free demo via the FM20 Steam Store page which allows you to play six-months in-game. You can then continue that save if you want if you decide to buy the full version afterwards.

Yes buy it. Once you understand how to get the best from it, it’s pretty amazing. I’d recommend it, after some early issues.

Any chance of fixing the weather? over two seasons in and only a couple of games where it isn't chucking it down.
