Finances on lower league team
So, i recently got back into FM. And like always, i like to take control of a lower league team and guide them to the top of the league. But after 3 seasons and 1 promotion, my finances are almost 2mil in debt. I'm working inside all the set budgets, but still seem to be losing money every month.
Selling my players isn't really an option, because i would need to sell the entire club each season to be able to have a healthy club. I even refused a pay-raise to help the club achieve a healthy finance.

Is there something more i can do?

You can play 2 friendlies per week against top teams during pre-season. Choose Away, not home match. You can make 25K-100K per match depending on who you play. And get lucky and take a few rounds of price money in the cup.

Only have 17-18 players total. (11+5) and 1-2 for injuries. max 11 part time contracts, with 5 non-contracts for the bench and 2-4 super loans on no wage you get down to 8-10 players with a wage
This can make you spend perhaps only half of the wage budget, or give you a better team using the same amount of money.
Playing a 4-3-3 Narrow makes it easy for 5 subs to cover all 11 players, (DL, DC, DR, MC, ST) and it makes lots of goals in both directions and that will bring in more ticket sales over time as its fun to watch.

I find that if you renegotiate all player contracts to include international cap bonuses you can counter that with their weekly wage to cut a fair whack off the sum. Just make sure the players you do it too will not get a call up. You could try this with a tin pot cup competition for extra leverage.
i will try both these options, i already play some top tier teams in pre season but certainly not 2 a week. And guess i have some renegotiating to do on the team :D

Thanks for the help!
