FM19 removed from store. Final nail for SI?
Quite honestly, seeing claims of FM19 being removed from the store and then going to see for myself I am amazed.

A common theme through the forums is that FM19 'felt' much better to play than the current state of FM20. So the response from SI is to simply remove FM19 from the store and make it unavailable for purchase?

Almost every single person making a comparison between 19 and 20 puts 19 ahead, so when this is the response it's quite amazing.

Genuinely outrageous and to be honest makes half the replies we get about all the good work going into the game suddenly seem like bull cr*p. Somewhere along the line the focus evidently switched from making the best game possible to simply saying 'we'll drag this out as long as as we can while putting as little cash back into further development'.

Probably fair to say it's not actually the devs' fault - Unless the dev team are also the owners. But either way this franchise is crumbling. This sort of criticism is rarely seen for what it is and seems to be taken with offence, but let's be fair, none of us want the FM franchise to fail.

What I will say is this is the last FM I will be buying unless I hear stories of significant improvement all round. So so disappointed not only with the game, but the conduct of SI in addressing these issues.

Essentially SI, I believe you are guilty of treating your customers (and for the most part, LOYAL customers) like they are dumb.

Once a new version is out we no longer can sell previous versions via Steam due to licencing reasons. You can still potentially buy the game boxed if you can find it and then activate it through Steam.

You're jumping to the wrong conclusion.

If you actually look, there isn't any other FM version on Steam, so it seems like a licencing issue more than anything else. You can still buy older FMs on other stores though, so it's not like you don't have options.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Fair enough, I'll take that on the chin!
