I hope they bring back gore like guts and bones flying out. As 4 and 5 is just cartoonish blood and body parts flying around.

I also hope they port the xbox 360 gears of war titles onto pc as a bundle. (1 Remastered, 2, 3, judgment.) Heck. bring 4 to steam.

I wanna buy gears 4 here on steam.
I don't feel any safety "owning" anything over the Xbox ecosystem.
Their brand really feels like a sinking ship right now.

If a Marcus Fenix collection does get released, they really need to stick to the original games atmosphere. The dark aesthetic to those games really created a mood for the player that Gears 4 especially did not do. All this Gears talk has me finally installing Gears 5 to try it out though. I don't want to go into negatively, but I know it won't have the feeling of the original games unfortunately. I really hope Gears 6 brings back that slight horror vibe the original had.

oh yeah i like gears 5, but only the multiplayer, i found the vibe of the campaigns havent been the same since the first 2, which were clearly the best campaigns.

I agree on that for sure! I am starting Gears 5 soon and honestly dread playing as Kait lol. It sounds like it isn't through the whole game, but I can never figure out how the females can carry such heavy equipment. They never even look muscular.

Gears will be revived the moment it goes back to being dark and gorey like gears 1 and 2, i pray this is true

To be fair it was like that with anya Stroud as well who was nowhere near as much of a brick ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as the rest of delta squadron & built more like your average lady character from an unreal tournament game but could still haul around weapons like the oneshot nbd.

Just roll with it, gears has always been at least a little bit unrealistic
