It's not dead. It's cross play with xbox game pass pc and xbox one. I find players with zero issues.

It's only dead in the very late evenings. I find games all the time otherwise. Just because a game isn't getting updates doesn't mean it's dead. Games don't always need updates. It doesn't need updates imo. As the game runs great for me and I haven't noticed any bugs either.

The games,broke on steam keeps crashing where as the load times are faster but it and connecting to online services are great faster then windows version.
Windows works with some old glitches but it doe's what it says on the tin free free to add me if you wanna play some gears i'm always down to play!!
