Asking for a second controller!!

Bought the game to play with my wife in splitscreen coop. I have keyboard, mouse, two controllers plugged into the pc, all working fine. While trying to invite second player in lobby by pressing f9, game is asking me to add a second controller!! All my controllers are plugged in and working in other games, but not in this. What to do??

Tried searching a solution for ya but only thing i found is "Windows doesn't support multiple Xbox accounts signed in under one windows account" It says to go completely offline to play split screen in campaign. So i'd guess put steam in offline mode or disconnect your internet? try both of those and see if that works.

Give a try disconnect network after lobby has been created, then use the 2nd controller to add player, if the 2nd controller get player 2 label, then reconnect network and start game.
