Is the game still alive?

Like the title I wanna try gears 5 since I've never got the chance to play it before. It is on sale and I kinda wanna know if its any worth for the campaing and multiplayer modes.

i have played the game in the past all i no now you need to log in the game now. not just steam but soft as well.

I had my doubts, just like you do. But the game isn’t dead. Multiplayer is very still alive. I would say around 2 AM nobody’s playing.

It is Worth for Campain and MP.
But u shoult know the Story from Gears 4.
For myself the MP is one of the best i everplayed. But i like it since the first Gears of War.
And the the game mechanics are the best in the whole History of Gears of War.

I played it a lot, with the PC Gamepass. But i do not own it currently. i think i will buy it know, cause the price is absolutely nice.

i still play it game is good and mechanics in MP are great hate the delay in shooting and wallbouncing but its not terrible still fun as it always has been

get the game. MP is active. I play this game every day. every night. this is the first gears game that i jumped into MP and have yet to play the story mode. I have wanted to many times but i like playing live with others. banger5150 us my gamer tag. add me and lets get gearing.

It def is worth the campaign and mp. Just know the way you play campaign is completely different than the mp. Night and day difference. Watch some youtube, catch up on the story so you know what they are talking about when you do the campaign. Amazing game. I wouldn't suggest playing any of the older games though as they have not aged well. So just catch up on the story up to gears 5 and you will love it.

get gears 4 if you want a better experience gears 5 is and has always been fu77ed

gears 5 is better than 4 tho just less cosmetics and costumization but gameplay wise is better and campaign looks rly good

I bought it 2 days ago and game is actually cool to play rn max of 2 min and weekly ladder has at least 50k people with ranked points. I tried it last year and couldn't find matches that didn't have like half the team with bots after almost 10 min queues

I play horde often and have never had issues finding team mates, Keeping them when we fail a wave tho is a different story >_>

it's dead now. outside of the primetime hours it's impossible to find a random teammates to even do the daily/weekly maps. and even during primetime it can take 10,20,30 minutes to find a team. (GMT+1)

Horde unplayable long ago. If imbecile devs make "ready" button instead of autostart in 1 minute. Reenter every 45 seconds suck. Custom game needs 30+ minutes to find full party.
For now you can play campaign or pew-pew-pew mp with sliding autoaimers from consoles
