What you mean banned? You mean kicked out by the horde host? You'll get kicked if you're a noob. or you meant banned because you cheated.

Yeah, there are quite a number of hosts out there who would rather kick you the instant you do something they don't like rather than try to talk to you, or just be toxic.

Here's some things to keep in mind to prevent being kicked (although if someone's kicking cause he's an as*hole then f*ck them):

Don't touch other's lockers: Generally in Horde, while some people might like to store a gun, some classes REQUIRE lockers.
Classes like Demolition require a whole locker to themselves with boomshots. They're pretty defensive about their lockers, especially if they built it themselves.
Often times there is a Mechanic that builds lockers for others with discounts. Other times people need to buy their own lockers for full or extra price (depending on difficulty modifers). Using their lockers is not only using their to store your own weapons or borrowing their guns not only pisses them off cause you're using their energy, but also puts off their game.
Usually, avoid using someone's personal locker and see if there are any ones there for "public use" or even made for you and stick to them.

Avoid building structures in the presense of an Engineer:
Engineers buy structures at a discount and have multiple cards equipped that apply buffs to those structures, such as having an extra 100% HP and taking 50% less damage.
These buffs ONLY APPLY if THEY have built the structures.
If you use the energy deposited in the fabricator to build structures, not only are you wasting the energy he could have spent to make 2 structures (instead of your 1) but you're also taking away all the buffs from the structure so it will break quicker and not provide as much support as intended.
If you REALLY have to build something, first ask the Engi, if he doesn't listen (most people have their voice and text chat off by default), then use YOUR OWN energy to build it. Otherwise if the host is the mechanic, you might get kicked.

Deposit:
Deposit what you can. Structures help the whole team and the Engi needs extra energy so he can both build and perk.
This is especially important in Frenzy where there are much fewer rounds than regular horde.

Unco-operative/selfish behavior (intended or unintended):
Try to be a team player. I know this is obvious but there are people out there with their heads so far up their a*ses that this needs to be said.
If a teammate is downed near you, take a minute to revive him. Don't leave him down just because "oh I'm getting some good kills". Unless there's actual danger that would mean both of you going down, try to revive him.

Don't throw Shock Grenades under teamamtes feet. A lot of times a melee class like Blademaster charges a heavy enemy to take them down, but teammates think they should throw a shock grenade under the heavy's feet to stop him from attacking and there's no harm since there's no friendly fire.
That's not true. If a teammate stands in your shock grenade, he can't attack either. There have been many times where melee classes were in the middle of fighting and got stun-locked by their teammates shocks. And since Melee classes heal by killing, they usually went down.

Getting downed so much that you become a liability on the team is also a negative. i don't mean getting downed near teammate's feet. I mean being a close-range class like Melee or Infiltrator and constantly getting downed between enemies, causing your teammates to come for you and die cause of you.

There are other stuff but I'm sure you can think of them an are already cooperating on them.

----

Try to keep these things in mind and you won't be kicked at all. Unless of course the host is a straight-up as*hole like "hamani b" whose game I suggest you never join.

Cheers.

Well there's no denying there are d*cks out there, though frankly I'm not seeing as many as you are. Frankly I don't know what the case is for you. When I first started playing I was seeing a lot but not a lot after.

The only similar behavior I've seen recently is that sometimes when someone joins in the middle of a match, the host kicks him. I don't see it a lot but there have been 3 matches where I've seen this and didn't see any particular reason to kick him as it was instakick.

Either way, I would suggest you read the name of the lobbies you are joining.
Some say "only 3 players" and will kick the fourth guy who joins.
Some say "LEAVE OTHERS LOCKERS ALONE", "no noobs", "pros only" and I know these guys are uptight so I stay away from them.

On the other hand, some say "chill" or "welcome" or "let's have fun" and I know the host is there to have fun first and win second.

That does remind me, on higher difficulties (inc and master) your level is important.
It says 2 things:
1. How much you've played and know the class.
2. How many cards you've unlocked.

The second one is important. A lot of classes are worthless without the right cards which only start unlocking from levels 12 and above. You need to have both unlocked those cards and have upgraded them because without them, that class isn't half useful.
This is why I level my low-level classes on either lower difficulties or classic horde and only bring them to inc when they're around level 13.

Based on this, if the host wants "everyone to give their best", they might kick low levels. Maybe this was your case too, though I don't know your class's level and the difficulties you've been playing so I can be wrong, but I hope by sharing this you could avoid future kicks and frustrations.

Honestly OP I think you've unfortunately just been really unlucky in regards to the lobbies you've joined. Aside from what Chimz has already pointed out I'd recommend joining the friendly lobbies first or simply hosting your own public lobby.

I usually do the second, with my lobby name always being set to "Friendly Lobby - All welcome!" and it usually attracts some people- even on lower diffs- who are just there to chill and enjoy the game or to just grind the more basic cards (the more cards you collect the more free upgrades of them you can make).

And beyond that, well, I'm in EU but depending on your connection I'd be down to just play some chill games of Horde/Horde Frenzy with you.
