Is the multiplayer/Horde mode alive still?

Most people probably playing on the xbxo pc pass thing . Is that crossplay with steam version? Is the multiplayer alive at all?

Very alive, I play a few Games every day and night. Frenzy as well as Custom.

Not sure about the crossplay.

There is crossplay across the Xbox Consoles (all of them that can play Gears 5), Xbox App and Steam.
I play Versus daily and find matches within 30 seconds to a minute during the day time, at night it tends to raise to 3-5 minutes for a half-full lobby. Horde mode is still very easy to get queues much like Versus.
I play on NAE servers.

Yes crossplay is with windows/steam/xbox version although xbox version can disable crossplay with pc for ranked versus matches. and horde mode is still very active you can look for games in the custom lobby or make your own but if you join a custom game that person can kick you, most of the reason is a low level class in a "Master" difficulty game. You can also set your own horde difficulty wait in the lobby for people to join you or play alone and while in game people can join you just make sure you set it to public .

Yes people still play this alot. I have no trouble of finding people in story co-op, pvp and horde mode. But for escape. I don't ever touch it.

I still play horde a bit, don't have issues finding a match either.

Free for all is usually always active, never had a problem finding matches on that playlist
