HELP - Can't play campaign co-op online

I can play Versus, Horde and Escape in online multiplayer with no problem, no matter if I'm joining, hosting and who I'm playing with.

However, in the case of Campaign, I can't play online. Whenever I host, the other person gets dropped out when loading into the map, and when I'm the one joining, the same happens to me.
The loading part takes a long time, maybe 2 or more minutes, and then I get dropped out with the message: "Connection to the game timed out".
Again, doesn't matter if I'm trying it with people from my own country or strangers.


Anyone else having this issue or have any fixes/suggestions on how to fix it?

I should note that I play using the google DNS and without it I just can't connect to Gears service:

i can only think verify files and make sure firewall isn't blocking the connection.

I've checked those way back. None of them are the problem. And if the problem was with fireall, then I wouldn't be able to play Horde, Escape or Versus.

I have the same issue I can do horde and such but I cant play the game co-op

1 and 4 are literally the same problem.
It probably has to do with Microsofts weird teredo internet thing where they funnel their gaming ♥♥♥♥ through, same as xbox.
There have been threads about it for years and noone knew how to properly fix it.
The Gears Of War forums have been shut down so you cant ask 'The Coalitions' support, Microsoft has no idea, and Microsoft just 6months ago removed the xbox networking status from Windows that you could use to troubleshoot and check status with.

Yea another friend said forenza had some network test there but yea nothing. I work in IT my Teredo is working it wasn't at first but I think there cross-platform on story is down or broken. I can do horde and all the other modes but story with my Xbox buddies.

Yea another friend said forenza had some network test there but yea nothing. I work in IT my Teredo is working it wasn't at first but I think there cross-platform on story is down or broken. I can do horde and all the other modes but story with my Xbox buddies.

Yeah, the fact that every venue of fixing/troubleshooting it got yanked down is hella sus too. Like they purposefully took it down at the same time.

Also does your teredo give you a NAT address? I can get Teredo to work, at least it says it is in powershell, but I have neither an adapter that is installed, that is visibile in 'add hardware blabla' or a NAT Address.

ok I messed up lol.

But we got it to work on GoW1. Maybe that works for 5 too

So teredo is a REALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unsafe protocol according to my router, blame my router.

Its automatically deactivated due to safety concern, maybe your router too has a seperate hidden teredo block on it somewhere?

I am running custom firmware on my router and I don't think I have blocked it anywhere
