Should I get Gears 5 or Gears 5 Game of the Year edition?

Are there any significant differences?

I see that you get 2 more characters in Gears 5 GOTY that you can't get with just the DLC, but how many characters are in total in game?

For me it was waste of money because I only play horde & never touched hive.

There are like 100+ skins you can get and like 30 different characters just on the Gears side. The GoTY version is only really worth it if you want the two Halo Reach characters since the Boost is obsolete now since we get a constant one everyday. They are cool to use in both Horde and Escape, but chances are you'll find another cool skin from the shop to use.

Though the DLC campaign is also included and is short but still pretty good. Overall I'd say for both the characters and campaign it's worth the extra $5.
