Disconnected from games

Everytime I get in a game after 2 min everyone starts walking in place and it boots me back to the main menu saying connection to the game timed out.
Anyone else getting this and know how to fix it?
I already set my multiplayer pref to low ping games.

Me too dude .... I did almost every solutions that i found to fix it. Disconnecting is a hobby in this game. Got no problem with other games ... only this one. Every time i played my PC did sumthin funny thingies its like someone always probing the internet connections.

Hey I FIxed mine by unplugging the power supplies from the wall outlets for my motum and wifi. Then held down any analog button I could on them to drain any remaining energy in the fuses. Then plugged it all back up and It stopped kicking me out!

For starters, go to windows settings - gaming - xbox networking and ensure that your NAT type for XBOX multiplayer says Open. If it says Moderate/Strict that means you are having restrictions on your network traffic to the XBOX Live network which is affecting your connectivity.

To fix this, you will need to open the required ports on your router for XBOX Live as the gears server connections are through that network.

I remember having this a lot during operation 2 despite having an open NAT connection and I raised multiple tickets and since operation 3 it has improved drastically. I still do have it happen sometimes but its pretty rare now.

That used to happen for me a lot in op 2.. never happened since op 3.

cant even boot up the game only show me a the xbox of logo then freezes up the send back to steams

haven't had that happen to me yet. Have you made sure all your drivers are updated and windows is up to date? Other than that maybe try to find the config file for the game and lower the graphics down all the way and see if it launches
