Hivebusters was on half-price sale, and I wanted it. However thinking back to me not being able to launch Gears 5 stopped me buying it. I re-read my first post in this thread and it woke me up.
its removed completely from mine with all apps
Works perfectly here always did. Potato PC are known to run apps badly, probably your case...

its not the fastest system, but it is well optimized
I must say steam is miles better when it comes to game downloads and management.
Good luck
MS store does require stable internet connection but it shouldn't have reset if most of the files are already downloaded. I think MS store did not improve, it staid the same. Good luck guys.
I think I remember that with Gears 4. You had to download all in one go. If you paused the download, you had to restart, even though there was a pause button. (I have quite fast internet, but 120GB was a big download.)
I am not sure but I vaguely think that might have been fixed. I think we may be able to pause now with MS store.
Am hoping though that if Gears 5 ever gets updated again, I will still be able to play it. There's another play through of it I think. With my case the last time it would not launch due to needing update, and it would not update.
It's still tempting on the MS store but potentially losing access to the game altogether is not good. Had I not thought to try to trick the MS store version into updating by moving installation drive. I would still be without Gears 5.
The only other fix was a complete reinstallation.
