Scorcher not reliably inflicting burn damage (in horde mode)

So I got my Brawler class up too a decent level and have been trying some scorcher oriented playstyles for horde mode instead of tackling everything.

Burn damage is quite crucial to many skill cards the Brawler possesses. Potential synergism with the scorcher specifically. Problem is I'm using the scorcher and I'm not reliably inflicting the burn debuff on enemies as I literally burn them too death. Sometimes a Matriarch will take massive damage while I'm toasting it alive because burning is working properly. Something it won't and my Scorcher is doing more flat damage. I can't even check how useful the instant and increased health regeneration skill is because half the enemies I'm Scorchering at point blank don't seem to actually be suffering burning damage.

So my question is what's going on? Are people just rocking freezing shot related builds and I'm not noticing it and it's somehow cancelling both of us out even when I'm the only one attacking a normal drone? Is it just the specific modifiers of the horde daily (says it handicaps bleed damage, dunno know if this could modifier could be bugged).

So they changed the effect of the active reload for the scorcher? It used to be the range on it increased from active reloading from what I remember in previous games like Gears 3.

This game is pretty unplayable on nvidia card, constant crashes, scorcher crashes. when you doing well, your AI team mate intensionaly block you and give a false sense of security to help the losing team gain ground much like racing games where the car behind will go faster than the leading car. to get it your way and hinder you when you are doing well, people know if they want you out of the game just pick up the scorcher and kick them out give them a leaving penalty, The coalition have tried to make this as main stream as possible while "trying" to keep there original fan base. they have failed misrably
